Hah, pretty interesting. I had a completely different experience. Glad Perplexity was able to help you out; in some ways, it does surprise you with the results, doesn’t it? I wouldn’t say I’m a convert though. Used it as a replacement for Google for a week. Maybe I should do chatgpt vs perplexity next :laughing:

Hmm.. that’s a fair point on the ad angle, but I’ve used adblockers for as long as I can remember, and wrongly assumed everyone uses them too. It’s fair if people want to switch search engines to avoid ads, though I do want to point out that Perplexity is now also planning on displaying ads to generate revenue.
